LAT Dance's recreational camp.

Camp LAT Recreational

6 – 12 years. Suitable for beginner and more experienced dancers, Camp LAT offers the perfect balance between structured dance and acrobatics training and traditional cooperative camp activities including group games, arts-and-crafts, water park fun and more. Camp LAT fosters the development of interpersonal skills, respect, and inclusion.

A typical Camp LAT day starts at the studio, with before-camp supervision followed by morning dance classes. Lunch is either at the studio or in one of the neighborhood parks, followed by traditional camp activities outside. Then back to the studio for dance or acro classes and ending with after-camp supervision. Each camp day has at least 4 hours of dance/acro training and a balanced amount of fun, recreational activities.

Camp LAT fits into busy family schedules seamlessly, with both weekly and daily camp registration options available. Fees include optional before- and after-camp supervision.

LATitude summer intensive camp

LATitude Summer Intensive

8 – 16 years. This two-week intensive is mandatory for ALL LATitude Program dancers and Team LATitude members, and takes place at the end of August each year. Students must take part in order to continue in these programs in September because it is the time to consolidate and expand the technical and artistic skills acquired during the previous school year. The two programs are run concurrently, and are taught at the LAT studio as well as at NDG venues within walking distance.

Levels 1-4 Advanced Program

These dancers learn challenging dance and acro technique, preparing them for demanding September classes. This time is balanced with recreational activities at neighborhood parks and pools. Students find that this camp is a huge bonding experience and many make lifelong friends from the time spent at the LAT.

Team LATitude

These dancers learn and rehearse three required competition group choreographies and expand their technique through collaborative workshops taught by renowned Montréal choreographers at Maison de la culture Notre-dame-de-Grâce. This is a formative experience with plenty of team building moments.
